Wonderful job! The iris is what first drew me in, but the detail in the corner of the eye (deferenciating between the red flesh and the green scales) just awesome!
I would have added some more of the scales under the eye and carry it towards the right hand side of the piece, then have it blurr out.
I would love to see what you could do with a set of just eyes, as well as other types of scales,ie different types of lizards, fish etc...
If I was to grade this I would say 95/100.
